Man Utd: Solskjaer defends decision to bench Bruno
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be backed by the Glazers in this summer’s transfer window. The Norwegian has done a good job at Old Trafford this season, despite their FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Leicester on Sunday. So Express Sport will now take a look at how they could line up next term with four new signings.
Manchester United are pretty blessed when it comes to goalkeepers.
David De Gea and Dean Henderson can both be world-class on their day but, despite that, they’ve been tipped to leave Old Trafford behind.
There’s been talk of United being on the lookout for replacements for their two goalkeepers, with Sergio Romero also primed to leave.
And Gianluigi Donnarumma has been linked as a result.
The Italy international looks likely to leave AC Milan as a free agent this summer and, due to his physicality and experience, could be a big Premier League hit.

United’s two full-backs, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw, have both improved considerably this season.
And Harry Maguire, Sunday’s Leicester horror show aside, has looked significantly more solid in recent weeks.
But while Victor Lindelof has impressed next to Maguire at the back, United know they need another centre-back if they’re to challenge for the Premier League title.
And Raphael Varane could be the chosen one.
Real Madrid may be forced to cash in on the France international, who has previously described the Red Devils as a ‘big club’.
And United, having admired him for over a decade, may end up being his next destination.

Forwards: Greenwood, Haaland, Rashford
What a front three this would be.
United are serious about signing Erling Haaland and are expected to aggressively pursue the Dortmund striker at the end of the campaign.
He’d certainly represent an upgrade on Anthony Martial, who could be sold this summer having found the net just seven times this term.
On the right wing could be Mason Greenwood, who ended his goal drought by scoring against Leicester over the weekend.
And on the left may be Marcus Rashford.

What Solskjaer recently said
Speaking recently, United boss Solskjaer said the club will be careful with their spending this summer due to the coronavirus crisis.
“[The pandemic] is definitely affecting everyone in football. Of course the lack of income, the finances have affected everyone," he said.
“We have to be realistic and responsible in the way we do our business both on and off the pitch. There are improvements on the training ground, stadium - we have to look at the whole picture.
"Where can we spend the money? And how much is there? It’s just the real world now. It has changed.”
He then added: “You can look at it different ways [with a] rebuild. We also have players in the academy that we now can maybe give opportunities.
"All clubs in the world are going through the same situation so it’s no different for other clubs than for us. I think there’s just going to be less and less transfers happening in the world of football with all these changes.”
