Chelsea: Tuchel pleased with Havertz in Everton win
Chelsea gaolkeeper Edouard Mendy has been one of the best signings of the season after helping to strengthen the Blues' defence. The £23million man was questioned, however, by Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville after a poor spell of form earlier in the campaign.
Chelsea have been solid at the back since Thomas Tuchel took over from Frank Lampard in January.
The Blues have conceded just two goals in ten games across all competitions, with Mendy keeping seven clean sheets.
Having struggled at the back last season, Lampard was determined to sign a new goalkeeper to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga.
After pushing throughout the window, he eventually landed on 28-year-old Mendy in a deal worth up to £24million.

The Senegal international immediately became the club's new first-choice, but Chelsea still went through a poor spell towards the end of Lampard's tenure.
Such was their poor form, Chelsea went into a game against West Ham on December 21st having lost their two previous league games.
And speaking on Sky Sports' coverage of that game, Carragher suggested he was concerned about Mendy's ability to get the Blues out of that hole.
“I was [convinced Mendy had corrected his mistakes] before these last three games," said Carragher.

"I must be honest, when you’ve brought him in, you’re thinking from Rennes, 28 years of age.
"It’s not late in his career, certainly as a goalkeeper, but you think could he have been spotted earlier in his career, how good is he really?
"He came in and made a massive difference, but I think any keeper coming in would’ve made a massive difference.
"I think what’s happened the last three weeks, it’ll be interesting to see how he deals with that himself really because with goalkeeping, it can spread throughout the team.
