Tottenham team news: Expected line-up vs Dinamo Zagreb as Mourinho makes Dele decision
Tottenham are big favourites heading into their Europa League last-16 first-leg tie against Dinamo Zagreb tonight (8pm).
Tottenham: Mourinho hints at changes for Dinamo tie
Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho will be hoping his Spurs side can take a comfortable lead to Croatia next week following the first leg against Dinamo Zagreb tonight. Mourinho has a near fully-fit squad for the Europa League tie at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Express Sport has predicted the Spurs XI we expect to line up.
Goalkeeper - Lloris
Mourinho has stuck by Hugo Lloris despite the Frenchman making a number of high-profile mistakes earlier this season.
Joe Hart played in the second leg of the last-32 tie against Wolfsberger but Mourinho will not take that chance tonight.
Lloris has conceded just one goal in his last three appearances, giving him a much-needed confidence boost.
A settled defensive partnership in front of him may have helped in that regard.
Defence - Aurier, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Reguilon
Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld have started the last three games at the back and are likely to keep their places tonight.
Eric Dier is suffering from a "crisis of confidence", according to Mourinho, and is therefore unlikely to start.
Serge Aurier could replace Matt Doherty at right-back if the Ivory Coast international is fully over his calf injury.
Sergio Reguilon should slot in on the opposite side of defence.
Midfield - Hojbjerg, Ndombele, Dele Alli
Mourinho can afford to go slightly more attacking against a side like Dinamo, especially at home.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been a constant in the side since his arrival last summer and will provide the defensive stability.
Dele Alli has started to feature more under Mourinho and could start in the No 10 role.
Tanguy Ndombele is likely to be the other member of the midfield.
Attack - Bale, Kane, Son
Mourinho wants to manage Gareth Bale's workload, and with the north London derby on Sunday it is unlikely he will play the entire 90 minutes tonight.
However, an hour of Bale, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min together may be enough for Spurs to storm into a comfortable lead.
Kane and Bale especially looked scarily good in the win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Son will not want to be upstaged so expect him to pop up with a goal or two tonight.
Expected Tottenham XI against Dinamo Zagreb in full: Lloris; Aurier, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Reguilon; Hojbjerg, Ndombele, Alli; Bale, Kane, Son.
