Man Utd: Alex Telles scores impressive goal during Brazil training
Manchester United star Alex Telles has admitted he’s delighted with Luke Shaw’s form of late. The England international has finally achieved consistency at Old Trafford, becoming a vital player for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the process. And his team-mate has now hailed his improvement.
United have Telles and Shaw scrapping for a left-back spot.
But the Brazil international, speaking to the club’s official website, has hailed his team-mate for his sensational displays.
Telles said: “I'm very prepared to play.
“I'm also very happy with the performances of Luke and his hard work.
“I came here to play. And both me and Luke really develop together, both in training and games. I've played and have put in some good performances as well.

“United benefit from this as well, United the club, because we win by having good players available. And if needed I'm here, ready, focused and prepared to play.
“And once again I repeat that I'm really happy for Luke Shaw, his great performances and contributions.”
Telles could feature when United face Liverpool in the FA Cup on Sunday.
And he’s looking forward to the contest at Old Trafford with a place in the fifth round of the competition at stake.
“I've played in a lot of derbies,” added the Samba star.

“I think all the games between the two sides from the beginning right up until now have been competitive, and I saw in the previous game how great the rivalry was and I'm sure we will be very prepared for this match.”
Another player who could feature for United is Donny van de Beek.
The Netherlands international has struggled for minutes ever since his arrival from Ajax back in the summer transfer window.
But Solskjaer has revealed the 23-year-old isn’t happy at the club, saying: “I wouldn't say that Donny is happy. Of course, he wants to play more, but he gets about his job in the right manner.
“He reminds me a lot about myself, when I first came in, that he understands my difficulties and challenges.

“We are doing well and have got players who are playing really well in his position.
“I was the same with Sir Alex. When he left me out I understood and I was happy for the team to win - and Donny is that type of guy.
“He knows he is important for us and knows he is going to play many games.
“He will definitely be involved in this game against Liverpool and he might be the deciding factor in the game.
“He trusts his own quality. He is a quietly confident guy who deep down knows he is good enough and is just waiting for his opportunity.”
