Chelsea: Lampard confident he can cope with pressure
Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard has more potential to succeed as a manager than Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer if he is given more time by owner Roman Abramovich. That is the verdict of former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan, who has backed Lampard to turn Chelsea's fortunes around.

But Jordan still believes Lampard has a higher ceiling than the Norwegian as a manager.
“The difference with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Frank Lampard is I have a belief, whether it is ill-founded, wrong or out of place, that Frank Lampard will achieve things where I don’t have the inherent belief that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will,” Jordan said on talkSPORT.
“The comparing and contrasting isn't relevant because I don’t believe that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will reach the standards that I think Frank Lampard will.
“I don’t believe Solskjaer will bridge the gap at any point and I believe there is a distinct possibility that Frank Lampard will.

“Whether that means that Roman Abramovich will give him the time to do it, that is a different discussion.
“The reasons why I attach a different level of rhetoric to Lampard than I do to Solskjaer is that my belief is that Lampard has the capability to be an elite manager.
“And I don’t believe Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does.”
Meanwhile, former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara says Abramovich must have a long think over Lampard's credentials to lead the club back to success.
O'Hara said: "[Abramovich must think]: 'Do I still believe in what he's doing? Do I believe this is the man to take the club forward? And do I believe he can get us into the top four this season?', because Chelsea have to be in the top four.
"If he believes them things then he has to give Lampard the time. But if they keep losing and especially against the big sides, Leicester just strolled to a 2-0 victory and you're looking at it thinking: 'Has he still got the dressing room? Are they still believing in the philosophy of what he's trying to do?'.
"If he doesn't and he loses the dressing room, he's got to go."
