Transfer update: Latest on White, Alaba and Militao
Liverpool are among a host of clubs interested in signing David Alaba from Bayern Munich and a date on when his decision will be made has reportedly been set. Alaba remains one of the best central defenders in world football and Bayern had originally been desperate to keep hold of him.
"We're being told Real Madrid have made a big offer to sign him.
"But he is not making a decision on his future yet. He will make a decision in April or May.
"We're also being told that Barcelona, PSG, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool - all these clubs are interested in signing him.
"But you won't be surprised to learn that his agent is the one and only Pini Zahavi - one of the super agents - so I'm sure Pini will sort out a big move for him."

Liverpool look unlikely to bring in more cover at centre-back this January with reports suggesting they're willing to wait until the summer.
Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez remain the first-choice options under Jurgen Klopp, but Joel Matip's fitness issues are reportedly a growing concern for the Liverpool hierarchy.
Signing Alaba could well see Matip drop further down the pecking order at Anfield unless he's able to prove his fitness between now and the end of the season.
Fabinho has been excellent for Liverpool in a makeshift centre-back role this campaign, but the Liverpool boss will want him back available to play in his more natural position in midfield.
