Premier League table: Latest standings as Liverpool beat Tottenham, Man Utd to play
Premier League action continues in midweek but how does the table look? Here are the latest standings.
Premier League: Redknapp hits out at tier 3 fan ban
Roberto Firmino headed a 90th-minute winner as Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-1 at Anfield on Wednesday night to return to the top of the Premier League table. The result opens up a three-point lead over Jose Mourinho's side in second. Jurgen Klopp's men dominated from the outset and took the lead in the 26th minute when Mohamed Salah's shot deflected off Tottenham centre-back Toby Alderweireld and looped into the corner of the net.
But Spurs struck back seven minutes later, with Giovani Lo Celso finding Son Heung-min with a superb pass as the South Korean finished past Alisson.
Despite the home side enjoying the vast majority of possession, the London outfit had two great opportunities to go ahead with Steven Bergwijn hitting the post and Harry Kane heading wide from close range.
The champions, though, went on to grab the points at the death with Firmino leaping to power home a header from Andy Robertson's corner.
Elsewhere, Manchester City's campaign hit another bump with a 1-1 draw at home to West Brom, who later sacked manager Slaven Bilic.

City boss Pep Guardiola said: "It is not about the points (off the top), you have to win games like this
"We know it, we drop points. These are the ones you have to win. It's not far away to the top of the league but you have to beat West Brom at home.
"You don't have to be so clever to see the gap between this year and previous years (in our results).
"It is not confidence, Sergio Aguero is injured for four months, but we create chances, we are there we just can't score."
