Liverpool: Pictures from Fulham draw in Premier League
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has attempted to explain his side's poor start to the match at Fulham on Sunday. Liverpool were lucky to only go into the half-time break 1-0 down following Bobby Decordova-Reid's fine opening goal at Craven Cottage. Fulham tested Reds goalkeeper Alisson on a number of occasions but were unable to add to their advantage.
Liverpool equalised with 11 minutes of normal time remaining after a much improved second-half display.
Mohamed Salah's penalty squeezed past Alphonse Areola in the Fulham goal.
Liverpool's draw meant all Premier League teams who played European football in midweek have failed to win this weekend so far, ahead of Arsenal's clash with Burnley and Leicester's match against Brighton later on Sunday evening.
Manchester United and Manchester City played out a goalless draw at Old Trafford on Saturday, with Chelsea losing 1-0 to Everton and Tottenham drawing 1-1 at Crystal Palace.

"It doesn't help with the number of games that we have to play the same players. There was a push definitely - 100 per cent.
"We move on. Tottenham is the next challenge."
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson said his team were always going to struggle after starting the game as they did.
But the midfielder, who played the second half in defence following Joel Matip's substitution due to a back problem, also thinks European football has had an impact.
Henderson told Sky Sports: “We didn’t get going until after the first 30 minutes. You can’t do that in the Premier League or you get punished – like we did.
“The good thing is we reacted well. We dominated and should have scored one or more two. I’m disappointed with the start, pleased with the reaction.
“We’ll have to look at it but it’s not like us.
“I don’t want to make excuses. I’ll let you talk about the amount of games teams are playing. We flew back from Denmark, prepared well. For whatever reason we didn’t start well. Maybe we could have won the game on another day.
“[At half-time Klopp said] we need to start the half like we finished the first half. A few of us weren’t happy with the start. We gave everything in the second half. Fulham made it difficult to create chances.
“When you can’t win, don’t lose. But I felt we were good enough to get the three points.”
