Paul Pogba is reportedly on £290,000 per week at Manchester United.

Manchester United could be set for a huge increase in finances with Paul Pogba believed to be looking for a way out. Pogba is reportedly on £290,000 per week at Old Trafford, meaning if he were to leave, a hefty chunk could go to new signings and improving the squad.
Paul Pogba looks to be on his way out at Old Trafford following comments from his agent Mino Raiola.
The super agent, who was behind Pogba's £89million move to Old Trafford from Juventus in 2016, told Tuttosport: "I can say that it's over for Paul Pogba at Manchester United."
"Paul is unhappy. He is no longer able to express himself as he would like and as expected of him. He has to change teams; he has to change the air.
"He has a contract that will expire in a year and a half, but I think the best solution for the parties is to sell him in the next market."
So which five players could United sign with the cash they’d free up from selling the Frenchman?
Jadon Sancho
Priority signing number one on United’s wishlist - still - is Sancho.
And freeing up extra cash can only help their plight to finally land the England winger they failed to snap up in the summer.
Sancho is expected to make the move by the summer, by which time Pogba will have left if Raiola gets his wish.
Bruno Fernandes (new deal)
Not a new signing, but perhaps the best move United could make, would be to hand Fernandes a new deal with some of the freed up cash.
The Portuguese playmaker is comfortably the most important player at the club, and United need to tie him down for the long-term.
There is talk that Fernandes is being considered for a new contract despite only joining in January, and he could be given a bumper wage rise if Pogba departs.
Mesut Ozil
It’s a like for like replacement in some ways, high wage demands for very little playing time.
If Pogba leaves there will be a gap in United’s midfield, and Ozil could be the man to fill it.
It doesn’t look like the German will be playing at Arsenal any time soon, so could he make the move up north, potentially even on loan?

Paulo Dybala
Dybala is a player that United have been interested in before, but had their reservations due to various costs.
By selling Pogba they will free up plenty of money to launch a bid Juventus can’t refuse.
Equally, maybe they could strike up some kind of swap deal, with Juve reportedly keen on seeing Pogba return to Turin.
Kieran Tripper
Perhaps a bit of a surprise, United have been credited with interest in England right-back Tripper.
The former Tottenham man is out of contract at Atletico Madrid at the end of the season.
And some of the freed up wage budget could definitely go towards the 30-year-old.
