Arsenal icon Ian Wright wasn’t happy with his old side’s performance in the north London derby on Sunday as they lost 1-0 against Tottenham, and tore into the Gunners on Match of the Day after noticing Alexandre Lacazette tell his team-mate Granit Xhaka to pass to someone else and keep the ball away from him.
Arsenal were comfortably beaten by Tottenham on Sunday.
The Gunners got off to a nightmare start at the New Tottenham Stadium and were 2-0 down at half-time.
Spurs utilised the counter-attack to perfection and were ruthless in front of goal, with Heung-Min Son curling in the first from the edge of the area and Harry Kane firing in a second off the crossbar.
Jose Mourinho’s side were comfortable without the ball, and were more than happy to sit back and let the Gunners dominate the game.

However, Mikel Arteta’s side were unable to do anything with the ball and were barely able to test Hugo Lloris in the Tottenham goal.
Lacazette played through the middle as he did against Rapid Vienna on Thursday night, and was tasked with coming deeper to pick up the ball and let Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Willian run in behind.
But the Frenchman was caught out by Wright for asking someone else to receive the ball instead of him.
Speaking on Match of the Day, the former striker noted that at one point Lacazette could be seen pointing at his team-mates and telling them to pass the ball to someone else.
