Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told to play Aaron Wan-Bissaka in new Man Utd position
Manchester United signed the former England Under-21 international last summer for a fee of £50million.
Man Utd vs Arsenal: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reacts to 1-0 loss
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should start deploying Aaron-Wan Bissaka as a centre-back. That's the view of former Tottenham and England manager Glenn Hoddle.
United signed the 22-year-old full-back last summer from Crystal Palace, splashing out £50million to acquire his services.
Wan-Bissaka has struggled to balance his attacking and defensive responsibilities during his stay at Old Trafford.
That defender's struggle - and that of his team-mates - has stemmed from Solskjaer's decision to play a 4-2-3-1 formation, which he deployed in United's 1-0 loss to Arsenal this past weekend.
Hoddle believes too much has been asked of Wan-Bissaka recently and reckons he'd benefit from playing in a back-three.

Wan-Bissaka in a back three would work for me as the right-sided centre back. I would love to see him play there, I think he’d be brilliant there.
"If you’re playing with a diamond your full-backs have got to be really good players on the ball,’ Hoddle told Premier League Productions.
"Wan-Bissaka is one of the best defenders in the league, there’s no doubt about that. Is he the best in the attacking third in the opponents half? No he’s not.
"But he’s going to end up with a lot of the ball, if they’re so tight in midfield they’re going to end up playing to their full-backs.
"They’ve been inconsistent in the shapes that they’ve been playing. He’s trying to find a spine and his best shape.

Man Utd boss Solskjaer has three players at heart of formation dilemma
"Wan-Bissaka in a back three would work for me as the right-sided centre back. I would love to see him play there, I think he’d be brilliant there. But then you’re changing the shape of your whole team, he has played three at the back this year and he could play that."
Wan Bissaka and his Manchester United team-mates will be back in action on Wednesday night, travelling to Turkey to take on Super Lig champions Istanbul Basaksehir.
Solskjaer is hoping for a strong reaction against the Turkish giants, saying: “The main thing is working hard, trying to improve.
"Coming into training each day, trying to improve. We want to be consistent Last season when we found consistency we achieved third in the Premier League and Champions League football.”
