Seip takes a swipe
BLACKPOOL 2 PLYMOUTH 0MARCEL SEIP headed Blackpool in front against his parent club Plymouth before revealing he does not want to play for Paul Sturrock again.
Defender Seip, 27, had a dressing-room bust-up with Pilgrims boss Sturrock in August, and after a few weeks stuck in the reserves he secured a loan move to the Seasiders until the end of this month.
Plymouth allowed him to face them but Seip, above, made them rue that decision when he headed home Charlie Adam’s corner just after the half-hour mark. David Vaughan added the second in the 64th minute.
“I would go back – if I have to,” he said. “But if Sturrock is there I won’t ever play for him again, that’s for sure.”
Under-fire Sturrock said: “It doesn’t matter that Marcel scored the goal, they had several chances. If he hadn’t have scored someone else would have.”
