Tottenham: Mourinho praises ‘amazing’ 6-1 victory over Man Utd
Tottenham could not help but troll Sir Alex Ferguson after they thrashed Manchester United 6-1 at Old Trafford. It heaps more woe on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was already feeling a spot of pressure going into the clash. And there will be no-one happier with the result than Jose Mourinho, who managed to get one over his former club.

But just moments later, Tanguy Ndombele had equalised after shocking defending from Eric Bailly, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw.
And it did not take long for Spurs to take the lead when Harry Kane's quick free-kick released Heung-min Son to make it 2-1.
Matters turned bad to worse when Anthony Martial was sent off for violent conduct and Tottenham scored two minutes later after some absymal playing out from the back.
More shoddy defending cost United a fourth when Son grabbed his second and it did not get much better for the Red Devils after the break.

The likes of Paul Pogba and Shaw were caught ball-watching when Serge Aurier was put through by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to net past David de Gea.
And Pogba was at fault again when he fouled Ben Davies in the box that saw Kane score from the penalty spot.
At full-time, Tottenham's Twitter account posted the scoreline along with the caption: "Lads, it's Tottenham."
It is a callback to a team-talk Ferguson gave United back when he was in charge when he denounced Spurs as a soft touch, as ex-Red Devils captain Roy Keane remembered.
He said two years ago: “I thought I knew what the group might need, that we didn’t need a big team talk.
“It was Tottenham at home. I thought please don’t go on about Tottenham, we all know what Tottenham is about, they are nice and tidy but we’ll do them. He came in and said: ‘Lads, it’s Tottenham’, and that was it. Brilliant.”
"He wants players like Sancho but they don't go for the right price. It's like when you buy a car. I know the price but I say I'm bidding less. But what's going on with my club?
"What's going on today? I'm really emotional. It's really difficult to break a man like me.
"I'm a really positive person but I don't promote the violence but many people need a good slap right now."
