Chelsea dressing room 'tense' as Frank Lampard faces multiple transfer problems
Chelsea are expected to let a few players leave before the transfer window closes.
Chelsea: Lampard's defensive coaching questioned by Cross
Frank Lampard is reportedly dealing with a hostile Chelsea dressing room with some players said to be frustrated at their lack of involvement with the transfer window set to close on Monday. The Blues have been this summer's big spenders having outlayed close to £250million on new signings.
The Chelsea boss was unable to sign anyone in his first two windows due to a transfer ban and then the right player not being available.
Despite the financial uncertainty clubs have faced due to the coronavirus pandemic, Chelsea have still gone ahead with splashing big money on the likes of Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell and Kai Havertz.
A large proportion of the squad have also been moved on with Ross Barkley one of nine players sent out on loan while Pedro and Willian left as free agents.
But Lampard is still dealing with a large squad at his disposal with more players expected to leave.

However, those players that aren't in Lampard's plans moving forward are still at the club with just a few days left of the transfer window.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea are still looking to offload both Tiemoue Bakayoko and Danny Drinkwater while they're willing to listen to offers for Jorginho, Emerson Palmieri, Marcos Alonso and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
And the report claims uncertainty over their futures has led to unrest in the Chelsea dressing room.
That was evident when reports emerged last weekend that Lampard and Alonso had a spat in front of the Chelsea players following the 3-3 draw with West Brom.

The Chelsea boss is said to have been left furious after learning Alonso tried to watch the second half on the team bus as opposed to joining the substitutes bench after being taken off at half time.
Alonso was subsequently dropped for the Carabao Cup squad that faced Tottenham earlier this week.
There is also some uncertainty around Callum Hudson-Odoi's future at the club due to the club's recruitment.
The 19-year-old has been regularly involved in the opening five games of the season, but he's likely to drop down the pecking order when both Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech return to full fitness.
Bayern Munich are said to have revived their interest from 18 months ago and want to take Hudson-Odoi on loan.
And Arsenal legend Ian Wright believes a move to the Bundesliga giants is a no-brainer.
"Someone like Callum Hudson-Odoi has a massive weight on his mind thinking, 'what's going to happen to me when Ziyech starts playing and Pulisic'," he said on The Kelly & Wrighty Show.
"It's something, if I'm him, I'd be looking at very seriously.
"As tough as it's going to be to get back in the Chelsea side - of course it's going to be tough getting into Bayern Munich - but if they want you then it's going to work for you out there.
"He's going to play at Bayern Munich whether it's in and out [of the squad].
"He's going to cause problems because he's one of the most talented players to have come out of that Chelsea academy for many years."
