Jose Mourinho teases Tottenham transfer agreement after Europa League triumph
Tottenham reached the Europa League group stages after thrashing Maccabi Haifa 7-2 on Thursday night.
Tottenham: Jose Mourinho laughs off Eric Dier incident
Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho hinted a deal to sign Carlos Vinicius is close to being finalised, but refused to make any comment on the player until a deal is confirmed. Spurs made light work of their Europa League third-round qualifying tie against Maccabi Haifa on Thursday evening.
Kane bagged a hat-trick while Lucas Moura, Giovani Lo Celso and Dele Alli got on the scoresheet.
It was further evidence of Kane's importance to Tottenham's hopes and aspirations with the England international making his seventh appearance of the season already.
Mourinho has been desperate to bring in a back-up striker to help give Kane a rest on occasion.
And it appears as though Tottenham have found their ideal man.

Reports claim Tottenham have reached an agreement with Benfica to sign Vinicius on a year-long loan which includes an option to buy in 2021.
Mourinho was asked about the 25-year-old following the win over Maccabi Haifa, but the Spurs boss remained tight-lipped about any agreement.
"I wish you ask me when something is confirmed and I have not been told that so far," he said.
"I want to be respectful to the player and Benfica and maybe you can ask me this again later."

Harry Kane stole the headlines with his hat-trick, but there was also a rare appearance for Alli as he came off the bench.
The 24-year-old scored from the spot late on and Mourinho reserved special praise for the England international for his performance.
"Job done. Group phase. Almost at the end of an incredible period," he added.
"Good for the team, good for the boys.
"A hat-trick [for Kane]. I know he has so many already.
"Good for Dele to create a proper penalty and score."
