Jadon Sancho: Man Utd will pay asking price claims pundit
Manchester United's pursuit of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho is turning into the biggest saga of the window and is expected to continue for many weeks to come. Both clubs are using the media to try and get an advantage in negotiations.
Dortmund insists they will not accept a penny less than their £108million valuation and have set a deadline of August 10.
United are not willing to pay such a substantial sum after their revenue streams were hit hard but the coronavirus.
The Red Devils have threatened to pull out of talks if a compromise cannot be reached - and that has been met with Dortmund claiming they will offer Sancho a new contract.
The back-and-forth will no doubt continue deep into the summer and Bundesliga insider Jan Aage Fjortoft has attempted to explain the situation in 11 points.
He wrote on Twitter: "1. Man Utd must understand that Dortmund want to keep him. That they will double his wages.
