Chelsea: Pundit sends warning over Kai Havertz transfer
Chelsea look set to follow deals for Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech with the signing of Kai Havertz, but Ian Wright has been left "surprised" that the club have so far not targeted at least one central defender. Frank Lampard has earned high praise for his first season in charge at Stamford Bridge.

No club inside the top 11 have conceded more than Chelsea's 54, but that doesn't seem to be something the club are planning to address in the transfer market.
Werner and Ziyech come in as almost direct replacements for Willian and Pedro while a deal for Ziyech could be seen as an opportunity they can't afford to miss.
However, the question remains whether they'll have the money left to help improve Lampard's squad in other areas.
And Wright is amazed Chelsea haven't made signing a centre-back a top priority given how much Lampard has rotated in defence.
"Kurt Zouma weren't playing a while back but now he's back," he said on the Kelly and Wright show.
"He's taken [Antonio] Rudiger out and sticking with [Andreas] Christensen.
"Then you've got a goalkeeper that's making so many mistakes
"It seems like right in the most important position for me with the two centre halves and the goalkeepers - that's where they are their weakest.
