Liverpool ace will 'have plenty of choices' ahead of summer transfer window
Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is entering into the final days of his Liverpool contract.
Liverpool: Steve Nicol discusses Adam Lallana's future
Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana will have plenty of options once he becomes a free agent this summer, because he still has a lot to offer any potential new team. That's the opinion of former Manchester City defender Danny Mills, who thinks Lallana could end up at his former side - Southampton.
Lallana will be leaving Liverpool on a free after the club opted against renewing his contract.
The midfielder has barely played this season due to the strength of midfield options at Jurgen Klopp's disposal, and as a result will be on his way out.
Lallana will become a free agent next Sunday [26th] after picking up his Premier League winners' medal against Chelsea on Wednesday.
The former £25million man has been used sparingly by Klopp this season, and has only started three league games.

But Mills still thinks he will have a lot to offer wherever he ends up, amid rumours that there are four teams in the running to sign him.
Brighton, Everton, Leicester City and Burnley are said to be in a bidding war to secure his signature, and Jurgen Klopp has admitted it is unlikely he will turn out for the Reds again.
Southampton were linked with a move to sign Lallana earlier in the season, but their interest has reportedly cooled.
However, speaking to Football Insider, Mills explained why a return to St Mary's could end up being the ideal choice for him to make.

He explained that as Lallana has only recently dropped out of the England set-up, he still has the qualitty to play at the top level.
Mills said: “I think he’ll have plenty of choices.
“He’s now back at full fitness – that’s really why he hasn’t played an awful lot.
“He could even go back to the likes of Southampton.
"There’ll be loads of clubs looking to sign him up on a one or maybe a two-year deal, because he’s got quality.
“He knows how to keep the ball, he can create.
"It’s not long ago that he was in the England squad and playing for England, so he’s still there or thereabouts.
"He’ll have plenty of options.”
