Manchester United are still interested in signing Portuguese teenager Nuno Mendes, reports claim. Several European clubs are tracking the defender with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp supposedly 'bewitched' by his ability.

Mendes joined Sporting Lisbon's academy ranks for just £680 in 2015 and is now considered one of the brightest prospects in European football.
The 18-year-old made his first senior start in June, playing the full 90 minutes during a 2-0 victory over Tondela.
He's featured in every game since under manager Ruben Amorim - often being deployed as a left wing-back.
Sporting Lisbon's president Frederico Varandas is aware of the youngster's potential and quickly tied him to a new five-year deal.
The contract, which expires in June 2025, includes a £40.9million release clause.
But that hasn't deterred Manchester United who, according to Calciomercato, have maintained their interest in Mendes.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are said to have been monitoring the teenager's progress, while Jurgen Klopp is 'bewitched' by the Portugal Under-19 international.
It's thought Solskjaer has received a glowing reference from former Red Devils star Nani, who believes Mendes has a bright future ahead of him.
