Man Utd transfer interest in Jadon Sancho tipped to force Mason Greenwood decision
Manchester United star Mason Greenwood put in a stellar performance in Tuesday night's 3-0 win over Brighton.
Man Utd: Greenwood makes light work of Lindelof in training
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will eventually move Mason Greenwood to a central position if the club complete a move for Jadon Sancho in the summer, according to Phil Neville. Greenwood's emergence at Old Trafford has been one of the highlights for United this season.
Having not replaced Romelu Lukaku last summer, Solskjaer was left short of options up front.
Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have been given the responsibility of playing though the middle, with the latter seemingly being the more permanent choice for the time being.
Daniel James was signed at the start of the season to provide an option on the right-hand side and he impressed at the start of the campaign.
Greenwood though was soon given his opportunity in the starting line-up and he has seemingly dislodged James as Solskjaer's first-choice on that right-hand side.

The 18-year-old's goal against Brighton was his 13th of the season in all competitions.
But United have been strongly linked with a big-money move to sign Sancho in the summer, who would likely take Greenwood's place on the right wing.
Neville though believes Greenwood will eventually be moved to a more central position as he becomes more familiar with the demands of Premier League football.
"I think the right side is an area I don't think United have had a player since Antonio Valencia left five or six years ago," he said on Premier League Productions.

"I think he's a centre forward. He's playing on the left and right hand side because he's only 18.
"It takes him out the limelight and there's no pressure.
"Playing Manchester United's No 9 is probably the biggest pressure in the business.
"I think Greenwood will eventually be a No 9 but at this moment in time, keep him on the periphery and let him just develop and learn.
"Sancho plays on the left or the right, again it's a young English player with talent and speed.
"He will fit in with what Ole's trying to build, but I still think a centre forward is the one."
But United will have to break their club-record transfer fee to sign Sancho this summer with Dortmund demanding in excess of £100million.
Recent reports though have suggested the Red Devils aren't willing to pay more than £50m to sign the England international.
