Sheffield United's one-word reaction to Aston Villa goal-line technology blunder
It didn't take long for the controversy to return to the Premier League as Aston Villa hosted Sheffield United in the first game back.
Premier League encourage fans to 'stay at home' as games restart
Sheffield United were clearly enraged after they were denied an opener at Villa Park as the Premier League returned. The club took to Twitter to question referee Michael Oliver's watch, which stated that the ball had not crossed the line in the first half of their encounter.
Just before the break, the Blades were awarded a free-kick inside Aston Villa's half.
Oliver Norwood stepped up, whipping the ball into the danger area.
The midfielder's delivery asked major questions of Villa goalkeeper Orjan Nyland, who lept highest to catch the ball.
The Norwegian struggled to do just that though as the United players challenged him in the air.

Nyland then fell backwards inside his goal, after clashing with one of his defenders.
The ball appeared to cross the line as the United players celebrated what would have been the opening goal.
But to the surprise of many, Oliver said no and placed trust in the technology.
The Sheffield United Twitter admin was clearly lost for words.

They tweeted after the incident: "Really?"
Before later adding: "United look to have taken the lead as Nyland carries the ball over the line but the goal is not given."
The club also attached a video to a tweet at half-time, showing the Sky Sports replay of the ball crossing the line.
Jamie Redknapp claimed at half-time that Oliver's watch had later signalled a goal in the dressing room at the interval.
