Man Utd legend Ryan Giggs reveals he nearly left club
Manchester United have been linked with a double swoop for Juventus stars Douglas Costa and Merih Demiral. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to add some firepower to his attack and also wants to bring in some competition for Victor Lindelof in the back.
According to Tuttosport, United are targeting Costa as a potential addition up front and Demiral for defence ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils enjoyed a late surge before the Premier League was halted on March 13 due to the coronavirus outbreak as they are now fifth in the table with only three points separating them from fourth-placed Chelsea.
Costa joined Juve on loan from Bayern Munich in 2017 and the Italian giants decided to sign him on a permanent transfer a year later.

The winger has since amassed nine goals and 18 assists in a total of 90 appearances across all competitions in Turin.
Demiral was signed by Juventus last summer from Sassuolo but has struggled to break into the starting line-up with only seven appearances under his belt this season.
Meanwhile, the Serie A giants are keen to re-sign midfield star Paul Pogba, who has been linked with an exit from Old Trafford these past few months.

Pogba spent four year in Turin where he won four consecutive Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia trophies and also made it to the 2015 Champions League final.
Solskjaer, though, doesn't appear keen to let the France international go as he counts on him a lot for the future even though he has been plagued by injury this season.
The 27-year-old has been sidelined ever since Boxing Day with a recurring ankle injury but the United boss is confident he will have regained fitness by the time the Premier League restarts possibly in June.
The Norwegian manager is also keen on seeing what the Frenchman can do next to fellow midfield star Bruno Fernandes, who has been prolific ever since his arrival from Sporting Lisbon in January.
