Pochettino would get in ‘top players’ at Newcastle says pundit
Newcastle are ready to copy Manchester City's blueprint when their £300m takeover is completed, Steve Bruce's son Alex claims. Toon owner Mike Ashley has agreed to sell the club to PCP Capital Partners, an organisation backed by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia.

Bruce told Football Insider: “Yeah, and listen, for any supporter of any football club – look at Man City and where they were and what the owners have done for them and the city.
“When you get massive, massive wealthy owners who come in and want to spend big money, it’s exciting times.
“I’m sure all the Newcastle United fans are really excited about it, we’ll just have to watch this space to see if it gets over the line and if it does we’ll see exciting times.”
A lot has been made of Newcastle's transfer plans following the takeover, with ex-Toon goalkeeper Shay Given saying their squad will be overhauled.
“It’s possibly harder now compared to City with the financial fair play,” Given said.
