Federico Chiesa scores winning goal for Fiorentina against Milan
Chelsea transfer target Federico Chiesa is being monitored by more than one English club amid reports of a potential move to the Premier League. The Fiorentina winger has shone in Serie A over the past few seasons and is now attracting attention from a number of big European clubs.
The Italian is just 22 years old but has already racked up over 120 league appearances at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, providing seven goals and five assists in all competitions this term.
Calcio Mercato recently reported that Chiesa is taking English lessons to ensure that he is not caught unprepared in case of a move to the UK.
And Fiorentina chief Barone has now confirmed that more than one English-speaking club have made an approach for the Viola star.

Fiorentina are believed to value Chiesa in the region of £60million, although it remains to be seen how the coronavirus crisis will affect the transfer market this summer.
Club owner owner Rocco Commisso has previously admitted that he was open to selling Chiesa in the future, provided the price was right.
“We had a meeting before Christmas if I'm not mistaken,” he told Radio Toscana.
“If he wants to go then I'm sorry, but we'd accommodate him, providing the offer is fair. We must also see what he's worth.
“[His price] may have dropped since last year. It must suit everyone, although there's a chance that he'll stay.

“I focus on working every day, achieving immediate objectives, first and foremost securing safety. We just hope to get back to playing and the rest will follow.
“My objective is to improve in general, not just on a technical level, because I am the first to acknowledge that I need to become a more complete player.”
