Chelsea: Christian Pulisic needs to ‘knuckle down’ says expert
Chelsea ace Christian Pulisic has identified two aspects of his game that need to improve if he is to reach the next level. The £58million winger has made steady progress in his maiden campaign at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea saw a glimpse of Pulisic's potential when the USA international hit a hat-trick in last October's win at Burnley, becoming the youngest player in the club's history to hit a treble in the Premier League.
He is determined to improve his attacking numbers - but also plans to beef up to keep defenders at bay.
"I want to learn to be even more clinical in front of goal continue to boost my numbers, get more goals and assists," he said.
"I want to be stronger on the ball, being able to hold off players and those are two areas that I'm definitely working on."
Pulisic's progress was stunted by a tendon injury sustained in the New Year's Day clash at Brighton.

The 21-year-old was sidelined for three months and looked unlikely to play for the remainder of the season but the coronavirus crisis saw play suspended in March.
He will be available when action gets back underway, and said: "I didn't take it as seriously as I think I should have.
"It was one of those you felt you could do a lot of things but you try to push it that one extra step and realise it's not ready yet."
"It was a frustrating process but I'm feeling good and ready to go again."
