Man Utd: Pundit discusses Solskjaer's transfer plans
Manchester United transfer target Moussa Dembele thinks Ole Gunnar Solskjaer holds the key to any potential move this summer, according to reports. The France international has impressed for Lyon, scoring 16 goals before the Ligue 1 season was scrapped. And with United looking for a striker, talk of a move to Old Trafford this summer has gathered momentum.
Manchester United have kept tabs on Dembele for a number of years, with interest dating back to the striker’s time at Fulham.
There he impressed before joining Celtic in 2016, where he went on to win two Scottish Premierships in as many years prior to quitting for Lyon.
Dembele has taken his game to a new level over in Ligue 1 and, before the season was scrapped earlier this week, had found the net 16 times from 27 matches.
He’s under consideration behind the scenes at United as Solskjaer eyes a shot at Premier League title glory next season.
Yet the Manchester Evening News say the player and his entourage thinks the Red Devils manager holds the key to any potential transfer this summer.
It’s claimed that Dembele would find it hard to turn down a potential return to the Premier League at the end of the campaign.

But they feel that Solskjaer will get the final say - and what he decides is something only time will tell.
Dembele is one of a few strikers on United’s radar, with Timo Werner also attracting interest from the Red Devils.
The RB Leipzig star has been sensational this season, scoring 21 goals in the Bundesliga alone and notching four in the Champions League.
Liverpool have always been considered frontrunners in the race to sign the Germany international, with Werner himself supposedly keen on a move to Anfield.
But United could swoop with Jurgen Klopp currently unwilling to bring his compatriot to Merseyside given the form of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
