Liverpool: Pundits joke about goalkeepers Karius and Alisson
Loris Karius has been backed to receive a second chance at Anfield, as Alisson's deputy. The German left Anfield in 2018 and joined Turkish side Besiktas on a two-season loan.
Yet the Super Lig club are keen to cut that short and send him back to Anfield.
Therefore they will not be making the deal permanent at the end of the season.
Karius has been tipped to make a comeback at Anfield though, at the number two.
Adrian had made a real impact since replacing Simon Mignolet last summer, but his mistake against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League has changed that positive verdict.

"But yes, he made a couple of mistakes before the break.
“I would say Karius is a better goalkeeper.
"I think Karius has shown that he is a good goalkeeper and I think [Jurgen] Klopp would prefer him to be Alisson’s understudy next season.”
Karius' time at Liverpool will always be overshadowed by his horror show in the 2018 Champions League final.

The former Mainz No 1 gifted Real Madrid two goals as they beat the Reds 3-1 in Kiev.
On his return to action, Karius was clearly lacking confidence in pre-season.
Klopp was willing to stand by him until he made another error in a friendly.
That saw Klopp make his move for Alisson after the 2018 World Cup.
The Brazilian has helped Liverpool create a watertight backline, an area that used to be their weakness.
