Moise Kean is set to be slapped with a £160,000 fine by Everton for flouting the Government’s coronavirus lockdown guidelines. The Toffees are “appalled” with the 20-year-old for allegedly hosting a party at his home. Goodison Park bigwigs have read the riot act to £25.1million striker for breaching the strict guidelines.
Kean filmed himself partying at his Cheshire apartment. It is alleged the Italy international sent video clips to a private Snapchat group. The footage is captioned “quarantine clean”.
Everton labelled the incident “unacceptable” and, according to the Daily Star, will issue a fine worth two weeks wages.
A statement from the Toffees said: “Everton are appalled to learn of an incident in which a first-team player ignored Government guidance and club policy in relation to the coronavirus crisis.
“The club has strongly expressed its disappointment to the player and made it clear that such actions are completely unacceptable.
“The amazing people in the NHS deserve the utmost respect for their hard work and sacrifice.
“The best way to show them respect is by doing everything we can to protect them.”
Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti will be particularly furious with compatriot Kean.
Discussing the coronavirus pandemic, Ancelotti recently said: “What matters is that the health of all people is assured. It is for this reason that we must follow the advice of the Government.”

Kean is the latest Premier League player to flout the Government restrictions after Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish and Kyle Walker of Manchester City were forced to apologise for breaching the rules. Tottenham duo Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko also apologised after being spotted training together last week.
Everton signed Kean from Juventus for an initial £25.1million fee last summer but he has flopped, scoring once in 26 appearances.
Inter boss Antonio Conte is eying him up as a potential partner for Romelu Lukaku, with Barcelona looking favourites to lure Lautaro Martinez to Spain this summer.
