Man Utd handed Erling Haaland boost as Real Madrid make summer transfer decision
Manchester United have an interest in Borussia Dortmund superstar Erling Haaland but Real Madrid are also monitoring developments.
Erling Haaland wanted by 'every European club' says expert
Manchester United have been given a window of opportunity by Real Madrid in the chase for Erling Haaland. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a big fan of the Borussia Dortmund goal machine and would love to bring him to Old Trafford.
A new striker is on the agenda at Old Trafford after failing to secure a permanent replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who departed for Inter Milan last summer.
Haaland has emerged as one of the Red Devils’ top targets after a breakout season that has seen him score 40 goals in 33 appearances in all competitions.
The 19-year-old began the campaign at Red Bull Salzburg before rejecting a January move to United to join Borussia Dortmund.
Despite the snub, the Premier League giants remain interested and will pursue a transfer if Dortmund decide to sell.

One club that have cooled their interest for the time being is Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.
AS claim Los Blancos have decided to put a move on hold until January because Dortmund are asking for too much money.
The Spanish publication report that Bernabeu bigwigs will reignite their interest in January 2021 when it is alleged Haaland becomes available for €75million (£65.3m).
Haaland has admitted he is flattered by the transfer speculation.

When asked by FourFourTwo about talk of a summer move, he replied: “I don’t talk about that; I can talk about me and my club.”
He added: “It’s always nice when clubs are interested.
“It means you’ve done something right.”
The Norway international, who has scored 12 goals in 11 appearances, believes his decision to join the Bundesliga giants has paid off.
"I had a very good feeling about Dortmund from the first moment, and that’s why I’m here," he said.
"I liked the whole club, the history, the people in the club and how they run it.
"We decided Dortmund was the best option. And it is.
“We’re capable of everything. The start here has been absolutely fantastic, and the club have helped me a lot – it’s not easy to come to a new place in the middle of the season.
"I already feel at home.”
