Scott McTominay: Man Utd star shows off skills in lockdown
Scott McTominay has been compared to Barcelona legend Ronaldinho after showing off his ball control. The Scotland international demonstrated his touch with a brilliant clip posted on his Instagram Story.
McTominay begins by clip by balancing the football on his head before a series of keepy-ups. The Scotland international then fires the ball into the air and perfectly traps the ball upon it’s return. He proceeds to turn to the camera to celebrate the perfectly executed piece of skill.
Manchester United fans went wild as the clip was shared on Twitter.
“That’s Ronaldinho in disguise,” wrote one supporter.
A second referenced the Brazilian icon’s recent stint behind bars by writing: “I had no idea Ronaldinho had been released from Paraguayan jail…”
Some other fans compared McTominay to former Red Devils striker Dimitar Berbatov, who was famed for his silky skills.

The 23-year-old was recently named as Chelsea wonderkid Billy Gilmour’s toughest opponent to date.
“I found it really difficult,” revealed Gilmour. “No rivalry, I don’t know him that well. After the match he did text me and said ‘just keep doing what you’re doing'. So I thought that was really nice of him.”
Gilmour is likely to partner McTominay, 23, in midfield for Scotland for years to come.
There is plenty of competition for a place in the engine room in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United team following the arrival of Bruno Fernandes and Fred’s return to form.
McTominay, however, is eager to become one of the first names on the team sheet.
Speaking last month, he said: “Obviously in terms of competition for places, it's so important for a football club.
“If you don't have competition for places, people get relaxed, take it too easy and take their foot off the pedal.
“Obviously in a group where everybody is fighting every day to be in the team, it can only breed a healthy environment.
“Manchester United have always had that competition for places and people being in and out of the team. But obviously for myself, you want to be one of the first names on the teamsheet.
“That's the way you have to strive for, to strive to be the best. Nemanja's a great player and I can learn a lot from him.”
