Antoine Griezmann names surprise former Arsenal player in ultimate XI - fans react
Antoine Griezmann is clearly a big fan of LAFC star Carlos Vela.
Antoine Griezmann transfer to PSG is a 'good idea' says pundit
Antoine Griezmann raised eyebrows on Saturday as he named a surprise pick for his all-time team of players he's lined up alongside. The 29-year-old has played alongside the likes of Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe, but questioned why former Arsenal flop Carlos Vela hadn't been included in a team of his old team-mates.
Griezmann turned 29 on Saturday, and to celebrate, Bleacher Report put together an ultimate XI of players he'd played with.
Included in the team were four of his team-mates from France's World Cup winning side from 2018.
Paul Pogba, Rafael Varane, N'Golo Kante and Mbappe were included from the national team, while there were three players apiece from his current Barcelona side former Atletico team.
Diego Godin, Juanfran and Filipe Luis were selected from his Atletico Madrid days, while Messi, Sergio Busquets and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen were included from Barca.

However, Griezmann took fault with the team, and questioned why Vela wasn't included, writing: " Carlos Vela?" with a confused emoji in response to the tweet.
Arsenal fans may remember the Mexican from his time in north London, which was rather uneventful.
Having joined the club as a 16-year-old back in 2005, he had a series of loan spells away - playing for Salamanca, Osasuna, West Brom and Real Sociedad.
He left in 2011, making his move to Sociedad permanent, and it was there that he played alongside Griezmann.

The attacking playmaker went on to score 73 goals in 250 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish side, and was the team's top goalscorer in his first year at the club - beating out Griezmann.
Vela then went on to join MLS side Los Angeles FC, and has become one of the best players in the league's history.
Still, fans were surprised to see Griezmann refer to him as one of the ten best players he'd played alongside - as Griezmann was listed in the original team by Bleacher Report.
"Dub, Messi bodied," one wrote on Twitter.
"Where are you putting him in? Messi? Mbappé?" another replied.
The majority of fans were in support of Griezmann's decision, praising his link-up play with Vela from their Sociedad days.
"Makes sense honestly. He’s never had better chemistry with anyone so far in his career. Young Grizemann and Vela on Sociedad were really amazing to watch," one wrote.
"It is worth removing Messi or Mbappe to put in the Vela machine," another replied.
