Liverpool: Klopp discusses Lallana's future at club
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is planning to offload at least five first-team stars this summer. The German is expected to make plenty of changes to his squad, despite the fact they are on course for the Premier League title.
The Reds crashed out of the Champions League to Atletico Madrid after extra-time last night and it was a performance that showed the options in reserve are not quite good enough.
Klopp will be keen to ensure that’s not the case next season and according to Football Insider, he is already drawing up plans to get rid of a number of players in the summer.
Those include Adam Lallana, Xherdan Shaqiri, Nathaniel Clyne, Loris Karius and Andy Lonergan.
A decision will also be made on Dejan Lovren who could also leave Anfield.

Liverpool turned down loan offers from Sevilla and Roma respectively in January but he has failed to make an appearance since then.
When he returns to full fitness he will go in search of regular playing time, something that Klopp cannot offer him.
Nathaniel Clyne is yet to play this season following a serious knee injury and his contract expires next summer.
Meanwhile Karius and Lonergan’s time at the club has run its cause.

As for Lovren, this will be a decision that the club need to ponder carefully.
He is tired of sitting on the bench, but Liverpool will struggle to find a centre-back who will willingly be fourth choice.
The same report states that Ben White is a player they are tracking closely and could move for.
He has been one of the best defenders in the Championship this season with Leeds, having joined on loan from Brighton.

Klopp was not happy when Lovren was blamed for the club’s 3-0 defeat to Watford, their first loss of the Premier League season.
“It’s not fair, but that’s the world. If anybody gave Dejan Lovren the blame for our defeat then I can’t help these people," he said.
“A lot of times in my life I speak to people and they know less than I do about football, that’s okay as I’m a well-paid Premier League manager and I should know more than most people.”
