Man City: Aguero has a ‘hunger for scoring goals’ says expert
Fantasy Premier League users have had a mixed reaction to the news that Manchester City’s postponed home fixture against West Ham has been moved to February 19. Over 1.5 million FPL managers handed the captain’s armband to either Kevin De Bruyne or Sergio Aguero in Gameweek 26 with the hope they would deliver them points against a leaky West Ham defence.
But the game at the Etihad fell foul to Storm Ciara at the weekend, forcing City to postpone the game.
The defending Premier League champions took the decision due to the extreme and escalating weather conditions in the area.
However, FPL managers were left furious by the postponement as they were set to miss out on some valuable points.
With the Champions League knockout stages beginning later this month, along with City’s current run in the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup final, there wasn’t much space on the calendar.

It was unlikely to take place in the second week of the Premier League winter break.
But the Premier League have now confirmed the game will take place in little over a week on February 19.
And FPL have some good news to those who captained either Aguero or De Bruyne in GW26 with the game remaining in the set of fixtures.
It means City players selected will not blank for GW26, but not every fantasy football manager is happy about the decision.

Some managers had fantasy-favourite John Lundstram come off the bench with a seven-point haul after his goal in the 2-1 win over Bournemouth.
Fellow Sheffield United defender John Egan was also a popular defender coming off the bench who picked up six points after his assist.
Managers could now see points taken away with City scheduled to play GW26.
But it’s not as straight forward for City player owners with the West Ham game meaning Pep Guardiola’s side play three times in the space of seven days.
Their home match against the Hammers comes just three days before a difficult away trip to Leicester.
And that is soon followed by the crunch Champions Legaue round of 16 first leg away to Real Madrid.
Straight after that is City’s first chance of silverware this season as they take on Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup final.
Guardiola has been notorious for rotating players this season with Aguero starting just 14 league games.
