Manchester United loanee Odion Ighalo has expressed his appreciation to the fans for their support and promised to give his best throughout his entire tenure at Old Trafford. United signed Ighalo on loan from Shanghai Shenhua on deadline day last month as they were rigorously looking for a striker.
Ighalo is set to make his debut in the crunch clash against Chelsea on February 17 at Stamford Bridge (8pm).
The striker has been tipped to fill in for Marcus Rashford, who is expected to be sidelined until April with a double stress fracture to his back.
The Nigeria international has been described as a desperation move after the Red Devils failed to land the likes of Erling Braut Haaland, Timo Werner and Edinson Cavani.
However, the former Watford star is excited to be joining United, a club he has been admiring since he was a child.

The 30-year-old centre-forward also promised to give his best from the moment he puts on the shirt until his last day at the club.
Ighalo said: “Yes, I want to thank them so far for all the messages they have been sending since I signed for this team.
“I’m happy to be here, I'm happy to be a Man United player, I'm looking forward to the game and I promise to give my best from the first day I put on the jersey to the last day of my time here.
“I promise to add my own path to make sure the season finishes well for United. Thank you guys and God bless you.”

“A great lad and very professional, he will make the most of his time here.”
Solskjaer claims Ighalo is giving him more options in his attack, which would come in very handy as he is also juggling the Europa League and FA Cup schedule.
The United legend believes the star forward’s arrival will give him the chance to rest Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood at times.
Solskjaer added: "He's a different type of striker.

"He's a proven goalscorer, a physical presence. It gives us a chance to rest Mason and Anthony at times.
"We want to go far in the Europa League and the FA Cup. It was important that we'll have another type of striker to use with Marcus out for a little while."
