Man United: Sergio Romero trains with De Gea and Pereira
Manchester United have drawn up a list of replacements for Sergio Romero and Lee Grant over fears that both back-up goalkeepers could leave in the summer, according to a report. Romero has acted as David de Gea’s deputy since joining from Sampdoria in 2015 while Grant has served as the club’s third-choice shot-stopper for the past two seasons.
But The Sun report that United officials are expecting both handymen in the off-season.
Romero is widely regarded as one of the finest No 2s in England but he has not featured in the Premier League since May 2018.
The Argentine is primed to hold talks about his role this month with a year left on his current £60,000-a-week deal, which United can extend by 12 months.
The 32-year-old is understood to be in pursuit of regular first-team football and will not be short of potential suitors should he seek a move.

Villarreal and Real Sociedad are thought to be among a host of European clubs interested in the 96-cap international, who has kept 35 clean sheets in 54 appearances.
A United source is quoted in the piece, saying: “Sergio Romero is happy at United but there is plenty of interest being shown in him.
“At one stage, he thought he might even have a shot at being No1, but that was before David renewed his contract late last year.
“There have already been discussions to look at who might be recruited if both of them go. That's what's likely to happen."

The Englishman is making a late charge to make it into Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2020 squad and he is highly-rated at United.
Talks have taken place about Henderson staying at Brammall Lane for a third season next term but nothing has been decided.
