John Stones has decided he’s open to leaving Manchester City during the January transfer window.
The defender has emerged as a target for Arsenal as they eye defensive reinforcements before the window shuts.

Arsenal January plans explained
Arsenal want to bring in up to two players on loan before the January transfer window shuts, says The Athletic’s David Ornstein.
“I don’t know what assurances he was given, Mikel Arteta,” Ornstein said on The Ornstein & Chapman Podcast.
“But Arsenal are looking to make one to two loan signings during this January transfer window.
“They’re not close on any of them just yet I’m afraid but that’s in keeping with what we’ve been talking about with the rest of the league.
“It would be a maximum of one to two loans from what I’m told.
“Arteta feels he has a strong squad, especially when players come back from injury.
“My information is that one of those positions they are looking to fill is left centre-half, with a loan deal.
“There’s also suggestions possibly of a central midfielder and maybe someone to cover in the full-back areas, with the injuries they’ve got there.”
Bruno Guimaraes interest
Arsenal are interested in Athletico Paranaense midfielder Bruno Guimaraes.
That’s according to the club’s president Mario Celso Petraglia, who claims the Gunners will only make an approach after the current campaign.
Frank Lampard’s Chelsea had sent scouts to watch the 22-year-old during prior to their transfer ban.
“Yes it's true. Yesterday came the official offer from Benfica to sign Bruno Guimaraes,” Petraglia told O Jogo. “Arsenal are interested, but will only make an offer towards the end of the season.”
