Man Utd: Solskjaer ‘desperately’ needs signings says Ogden
Manchester United have hope that they can sign Raul Jimenez because of their relationship with Jorge Mendes and Wolves’ stance over a possible sale, reports have claimed. The striker has emerged as a target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in recent weeks as he looks to bring in a centre-forward.

That’s because Wolves feel that if a huge offer was to arrive which satisfies their valuation, they may consider allow Jimenez to test himself for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo refused to rule out a potential departure when asked about the speculation.
“It’s the first-time I heard it,” he said.
“Ole didn’t mention anything about that.

“The transfer window is open. When it is open anything can happen.
“As managers we have to be ready because anything can happen. We are very happy with Raul.”
Matthew Upson recently claimed on The Debate that United are in need of a centre-forward who can play with his back to goal, as well as facing it.
And in the view of Danny Murphy, Jimenez fits the bill.

“It’s finding it though isn’t it [the right player],” he said to Upson.
“You mentioned Jimenez at Wolves. Wolves fans won’t like it but he’s a quality player. He’s that type you’re talking about.
“I agree, centre-forward is very important and if [Marcus] Rashford was injured or [Daniel] James was injured, [Anthony] Martial can play wide if they had another striker.
“There’s going to be a lot of games. This notion where ‘how can you split that front three up?’
“They’re not going to be fit every week, so maybe there is a loan market, where you can then wait until the summer to get the target you want.”
