Liverpool: Klopp discusses Adam Lallana’s future
Liverpool already had the signing of Takumi Minamino from Red Bull Salzburg wrapped up before the January transfer window opened. The Reds agreed a £7.25million deal for the 24-year-old, whose move became official on January 1.
He wasn’t eligible to play in the 2-0 Premier League win over Sheffield United on Thursday but he could make his debut in the FA Cup tie against Everton.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said of his new arrival: “In this period of the season especially, there will not be 15 weeks until we use him.
“Is he then the finished article in March? I don’t know.
“We signed the player, he was at Salzburg, so he doesn’t have to change in the moment, just be who you are and then we start working on that and I am looking forward to it.”

Liverpool transfer news - who could sign?
Max Clark, Vitesse Arnhem
Liverpool have set their sights on Vitesse Arnhem left-back Max Clark, according to Football Insider.
The report claims Clark has scored “excellent data metrics” on the Reds’ own “sophisticated tracking tools”.
The 23-year-old is down to the final 18 months of his contract and has been identified as cover for Andy Robertson.
Emiliano Buendia, Norwich
The Athletic reports that Liverpool have been monitoring Buendia’s progress at Norwich.
Despite the Canaries struggles this term, the Argentine midfielder has managed to impress in the Premier League with seven assists.
It is thought the Reds see the 23-year-old as a long-term successor to Adam Lallana.
Liverpool transfer news - who could leave?
Rhian Brewster, loan move
Sky Sports claim Swansea have enquired about the possibility of taking Brewster on loan for the rest of the campaign.
Aston Villa are also said to be interested in the Liverpool youngster.
However, the Welsh outfit remain the favourites given that Brewster played under Swans manager Steve Cooper in the England U17 set-up.
Sadio Mane, Real Madrid
According to French outlet Le10Sport, Zinedine Zidane is keen on bringing Mane to the Bernabeu.
The Liverpool forward has been in superb form this season, scoring 15 times and providing 11 assists in all competitions.
Le10 also reports that initial talks have taken place between Real officials and Mane’s representatives.
