Celtic vs Rangers: Neil Lennon reacts to title loss
Celtic have already held talks with Slovenian club Slovan Bratislava about signing their striker Andraz Sporar and Express Sport understands Parkhead chiefs are set to return to the table in the coming days.
However, the Hoops are expected to face stiff competition during this transfer window for the the 25-year-old, as he is being monitored by several clubs across Europe after scoring 20 goals in 26 appearances this season.
Sporar has not only managed to find the back of the net in his club’s domestic campaign but has also impressed in the Europa League, with five goals in six games in the competition.
And while Celtic are leading the chase for the Slovenia international, Ukrainian outfit Dynamo Kiev and Championship side Bristol City are also interested in the striker.
The Robins want to strengthen their attacking options in the January window and while they are in the hunt to bring Arsenal youngster Eddie Nketiah and Liverpool teenager Rhian Brewster in on loan, they are also prepared to compete with Celtic for Sporar.

Lennon has previously admitted the Hoops are interested in the striker and before their 2-1 win away to St. Mirren the Northern Irishman said: “He's one of a number of options we are talking to at the minute.”
Sporar joined Slovan from Basel for £1.1million back in January 2018 and there have been reports that the striker is now valued at around £5m.
However, Slovan Bratislava chief Ivan Kmotrik has insisted that because of Sporar’s recent form, the club will be looking for more than this during talks.
