Chelsea eye Julian Draxler and Idrissa Gueye in double PSG January transfer raid
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is considering a double transfer swoop for Paris Saint-Germain duo Julian Draxler and Idrissa Gueye, as the Blues look set to spend big in the January transfer window, having had their transfer ban lifted.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is interested in signing Julian Draxler and Idrissa Gueye from Ligue 1 heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain. Chelsea are primarily targeting Draxler, but the Blues are also watching former Everton midfielder Gueye, and they may be tempted to make a bid.

Draxler has been linked with a move away from PSG for a number of months, with Premier League teams reportedly leading the chase.
Chelsea have been heavily tipped to sign Draxler next month, with the Germany international struggling to string a series of matches together in the French capital.
Draxler missed almost two months of the season from the middle of August, after picking up a foot injury.
He returned to action for a month, before missing PSG’s latest two league matches through a viral infection.

Draxler was signed by PSG in January 2017 from Wolfsburg, in a £32million deal.
He’s since gone on to make 126 appearances for the French champions, scoring 20 goals during that time.
The midfielder made a name for himself in the Bundesliga with Schalke, after bursting onto the scene in 2011.
Draxler scored 30 goals for Schalke in 170 appearances, while also providing 29 assists.
