Steven Gerrard makes statement on future as Rangers boss days after cup loss to Celtic
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has vowed to stay at Ibrox for the foreseeable future to bring back “the good days”, and he says his team are ready to bounce back from their Scottish League Cup final defeat against Celtic.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard gas given fans an update on his future as manager at Ibrox, and vowed to stay and help bring the club back to its former glory. The Gers will also aim to bounce back straight away after their disappointing defeat to Celtic in the Scottish League Cup final on Sunday, he said.

“At a club like Rangers you have to take the rough with the smooth, we are trying to create a real humble squad," Gerrard said.
“After a disappointment, yes, you need to heal but the best part of this game is the chance to change the whole mood around the club. We are ready to go.
“We need to get back on it, having analysed the performances and what the players gave me I am very proud of them.
“Now we have to go and give ourselves the next chance to be successful.”
