Celtic legend Chris Sutton has praised Hoops manager Neil Lennon for doing a “remarkable” job after taking over from Brendan Rodgers, insisting that he’s made the Parkhead club stronger and more entertaining, ahead of Sunday’s crunch Old Firm derby against Rangers.

Celtic are currently top of the Scottish Premiership, and are looking for their ninth title in a row this season.
But they’re facing stiff competition from arch-rivals Rangers.
Many people believe there is a genuine title challenge from Steven Gerrard’s side this season, having gone toe-to-toe with the Hoops so far.
The Gers are just two points behind Celtic in the league table, and both are likely to secure qualification into the Europa League Round of 32.

“Look at Celtic making a cakewalk of their Europa league group,” said Sutton.
“Their section looked a stinker when the draw was made but you cannot be anything but impressed with their victories against Lazio in Glasgow and in Rome.
“It wasn’t even as if those wins were backs-to-the-wall or smash-and-grab jobs. Celtic outplayed the Italians and then made Rennes the other week look like a run-of-the-mill Premiership game.
“Both clubs should be proud of their achievements in Europe this season and both deserve their place at Hampden tomorrow.”
