England team news: Predicted 4-3-3 line up vs Kosovo – Sterling returns, Gomez decision
England manager Gareth Southgate is expected to ring the changes when the Three Lions face Kosovo on Sunday (5pm GMT).
Gareth Southgate is expected to make a number of changes to his starting XI when England conclude their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign against Kosovo.
The Three Lions secured their spot at next summer’s tournament with an emphatic 7-0 win over Montenegro on Thursday night.
Harry Kane bagged a hat-trick while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Marcus Rashford and Tammy Abraham were also on target and an own-goal from Aleksandar Sofranac completed the rout.
However, England still need to avoid defeat against Kosovo to top the group and Southgate has several tough selection decisions to make.
The Three Lions boss has already confirmed that Raheem Sterling will return to the starting XI, having been dropped following an altercation with Joe Gomez on Monday.
Gomez was booed by some sections of the home support during his brief substitute appearance at Wembley, causing Sterling to take to social media to defend his international team-mate.
And Southgate must decide whether he throws the Liverpool defender into the mix, with Tyrone Mings instead most likely to come in for John Stones in central defence.
Harry Maguire and Jordan Pickford should retain their spots in the rearguard but Kieran Trippier and Danny Rose could replace Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ben Chilwell in the full-back roles.
Jordan Henderson is available after suspension and should replace Mason Mount while Declan Rice is expected to deputise for Harry Winks at the base of midfield.
Oxlade-Chamberlain should retain his spot after opening the scoring in midweek but the front trio of Jadon Sancho, Rashford and Kane could all be rested.
Callum Hudson-Odoi and Tammy Abraham are favourites to join Sterling in attack but Callum Wilson is another option while James Maddison will hope to get some more game time after making his international debut last time out.
Kosovo are third in Group A and gave England a scare during the reverse fixture, taking an early lead at St Mary's before eventually falling to a 5-3 defeat.
