Arsenal stance on sacking Unai Emery as Raul Sanllehi holds talks over long-term plans
Arsenal chiefs have decided their stance on sacking Unai Emery, and replacing him with former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique, as Raul Sanllehi reportedly holds talks over the Gunners’ long-term plans at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal: Unai Emery ‘accepts criticism’ after Leicester defeat
Arsenal are still backing manager Unai Emery, despite sections of the Gunners support calling for the Spaniard to be sacked.
It has been claimed that Arsenal were ready to part ways with Emery, in favour of replacing him with Luis Enrique.
But, the club still believe their current boss is the right man for the job, according to ESPN.
However, Arsenal’s head of football Raul Sanllehi is holding talks over the long-term future of the club.

Arsenal are currently sixth in the Premier League table; eight points behind fourth-placed Manchester City.
The Gunners are without a win in their last four league games, with fans starting to turn on their manager.
Emery spent almost £140million during the summer, but the club has failed to see major improvements since the days of Arsene Wenger.
Arsenal also broke their club record transfer fee during the summer by signing £72m Nicolas Pepe from Lille.
After Arsenal’s latest defeat - a 2-0 away loss at Leicester City - Emery claimed he could still turn the club’s fortunes around.
“I am speaking with the club to stay strong and recover,” he said.
“We also have young players who are growing up with us.
“I know we are receiving criticism but I have done before and I have recovered.
“I accept all the criticism. It is normal. Today we did one step ahead being better defensively.
“We need to recover our confidence. We need to be patient with some circumstances and we are going to do that.”
The Gunners now face a favourable run of fixtures, giving Emery a chance to pick up plenty of points.
After the international break, Arsenal face Southampton at the Emirates Stadium in the league, before travelling to Norwich City, and then hosting Brighton and Hove Albion.
Emery's situation might change if Arsenal seriously deteriorate but, for now, he is safe.
