Ryan Giggs on Man Utd star Daniel James
Former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel was full of praise for James after the 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Monday.
“What a player he is promising to be,” Schmeichel told Premier League Productions.
“Ryan he is a fantastic player, you must be so happy to have him in your Welsh squad.”
Giggs responded by claiming James has clearly worked on his fitness since becoming a United player.

“Yeah [I’m happy to have him at Wales] and also he is improving every game,” Giggs responded.
“His final ball, I said that’s the thing with young wingers, they’re up and down with their final delivery, can they score more goals?
“And he’s brave, he’s brave both with and without the ball.
“He always keeps you interested because he can go both ways, he can dribble, he can pass and run, so he can penetrate behind.

“His fitness also, end of last season, beginning of last season, he was struggling, he was coming off after 60-70 minutes.
“But now his fitness is getting better and he’s a threat, he’s a threat every time he gets the ball.
“And also when he loses the ball he doesn’t sulk, he wins it back quickly, which all wingers should do really.”
James played 90 minutes as United were held to a 1-1 draw against Arsenal at Old Trafford, with Gunners striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang cancelling out Scott McTominay’s fine first-half opener.
