Tatarusana warned Motherwell they need a Euro miracle
Steaua Bucharest keeper Ciprian Tatarusana has warned Motherwell they need a Euro miracle.
The Romanian B international reckons Well are inferior to Steaua after his side ran out 3-0 winners in the first leg.
And he insists the Steelmen are facing another Europa League hammering in Thursday’s return tie. He said: “This round is finished for Motherwell as far as we are concerned. It would take a miracle to save them and that is not going to happen.
“I think even their players know our superiority in the first game was enormous and I expect them to just try and keep the score down this time.
“In Bucharest they looked frightened and unsure, especially in defence, and I don’t think they are ready for any kind of success in a European competition.
“They will obviously be better when they are playing in Scotland, but it won’t make much difference to us.”
