Kieran Tierney heard telling new team-mate when he will make Arsenal debut after £25m move
ARSENAL signing Kieran Tierney was overheard telling team-mate Rob Holding when he’ll make his debut for the Gunners, after sealing a £25million transfer on deadline day from Celtic.
The Gunners initially offered the Hoops £15m for the left-back, but the bid was swatted away immediately.
Arsenal came back with a £25m bid, but it was again rejected by Celtic, as the offer was made up of clauses and add-ons, whereas they wanted cash upfront.
Unai Emery managed to get the deal over the line in the final hour of the transfer window, and Tierney is delighted to be an Arsenal player.

“[Leaving Celtic] was the hardest decision in my whole life that I've had to make.
“I had to speak to my family and my close friends and my agent as well because it's a hard decision to leave a club that you love so much.People need to know that as well.
“I feel Arsenal is a massive club and it's a great opportunity for me as well. I'm delighted to be here.”
