Raheem Sterling's young son shows amazing football skills
Liverpool and Manchester City met in the Community Shield on Sunday with the first trophy of the season up for grabs.
But it was Pep Guardiola's side who reigned supreme via penalties, picking up the prize after Sterling's goal had been cancelled out by Joel Matip.
For Liverpool, the defeat is not crushing. Sure, it's a missed chance to win a trophy, but Jurgen Klopp's side did enough to show they will likely challenge City for the Premier League title.
But it did prove something that most Reds fans already know. That losing Sterling in 2015 was a mistake, one that has come back to bite them.
Today, Liverpool lined up with most of their best players - but not all.
Sadio Mane was absent and the Reds missed his trickery on the left wing. Divock Origi, who replaced him, failed to sparkle.
If only they had Sterling.
The England international was a constant threat throughout. He spurned chances to build on his goal but he flourished and gave his old side plenty of problems.
It was just the latest in what is becoming a very long line of impressive performances.
Sterling, last season, was arguably the best player in the top flight. Had Virgil van Dijk not had the campaign of his career, the individual accolades would have been his.

The defeat today also shows that Liverpool need investments. They did well to take City all the way but they are yet to bolster their ranks sufficiently this summer.
More in attack is required. Because when one of Mane, Salah or Firmino is injured, they look a little short.
Origi is a competent player but can the Reds rely on him? Can he really replace Daniel Sturridge as well?
Only time will tell.
But Liverpool miss Sterling. And their loss, is City's gain.
