Chelsea: Frank Lampard 'pleased' with team's attitude
Chelsea have played four pre-season fixtures so far, winning two.
There are three games to go before their Premier League opener against Manchester United.
The Blues recorded a fine 2-1 win over Barcelona to conclude their tour in Japan.
Tammy Abraham and Ross Barkley grabbed the goals and new boss Frank Lampard has been pleased with what he’s seen from his players in pre-season.
“I’m very happy,” Lampard said. “It’s been good on pitch and off pitch.
“I saw a lot of signs from the work we have done which is very good. There is more work to do but it’s been a good trip.”
He added: “We’re in a process to be fit and ready for Manchester United, our first game.
“The clock runs down quickly so the players have to keep working. Collectively we have to work on elements of the team I want to implement.”
