Bhoys will relish test
SCOTLAND keeper David Marshall last night insisted Celtic will be fired up for their friendly clash against Cardiff City.
The former Hoops shot-stopper can’t wait to take on his old club on Wednesday when the Welsh outfit open their new £65million stadium.
Marshall, who joined Cardiff two months ago from Norwich City, reckons Celtic’s tricky Champions League qualifying round draw against Dinamo Moscow will have the Glasgow giants desperate to be ready in time for the match.
He said: “I’m sure Celtic will take this game seriously, especially with Tony Mowbray just taking over.
“They’ve got their first Champions League qualifier coming up in less than two weeks. And I know from being in the team that lost in Bratislava in 2005 how important it is to be ready for such an important game so early in the season.”
